Thanksgivukkah is coming and Tzeeporim 2 has had a blast preparing!

Good Evening!

I hope that you all had a restful weekend.   The past week we focused on Thanksgiving. We read  Thanksgiving books and did some fun Thanksgiving crafts. With it also being Hanukkah on Thanksgiving, we also had to throw in some fun Hanukkah crafts.

This week we will focus more on Thanksgiving and Hanukkah! We will have a very busy week (although it will be extremely short) getting ready for our Hanukkah program, our Hanukkah party, and our trip to River Garden.

During learning time last week we focused on discussing about what we all do for Thanksgiving and how it is different from our friends and from the characters in our books.  We had fun with working on rhyming with Thanksgiving words.   We also reviewed patterns and reviewed the letter J and the sound that it makes.

Morah Rachel and Morah Miriam have been working extremely hard with our classes to prepare for our Hanukkah program. Miss Zina has also started to help us practice for the big show. We are definitely getting ready and it’ll be a wonderful show!

Mr. Greg and Miss Melanie did some very fun science experience using different household items. The kids love watching the experiment and seeing what happens from mixing different things!

Levi and Julia were our Ema and Aba last Friday. Thank you to Levi’s mom for coming into our class and reading one of our favorites- “Pete the Cat”!
