This week has been a short, but busy week for Tzeeporim! On Monday, we prepared for our Bikkurim Festival. We made our garden hats and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside!
On Tuesday, we celebrated Shavuot! We got to go to the Sanctuary with the Day School and join in on the prayers. We donated cans of food that will go to help families in need. We even got to sit with our VPK buddies! Tzeeporim and their buddies were so excited to sit together and spend time together! We also had noon dismissal on this day- it was full of excitement and fun through out the short day!
On May 15 and May 16 there will be no school to observe Shavuot- there will be free of charge while you are in services!
The end of school is fast approaching and will be VERY busy! Here are a list of important dates (These dates will be sent home in a letter, as well as in an e-mail)
May 20 and 21- VPK assessment testing- I will be pulling your kids out of class to complete the state testing. Please make sure they come to school with full tummies and lots of rest so that they can do their best on the test 🙂
May 23 – Camp Ki Tov Fun Day – wear a swimsuit, bring a towel, put on sunscreen, fill out sunscreen permission slip too!
May 27- No school: Memorial Day
May 30- Kindergarten tour to Ms. Yegewel’s room!
June 5- Water days- more information to come 🙂
June 12- Field day/ class party: More information to come 🙂

Next week: We will be learning about the ocean next week- I would like to make an “ocean in a bottle” on Thursday. If at all possible, I would like for students to bring in a small water bottle- around 8 oz to make this fun project!
Have a great, restful Shavuot and I will see you all on Friday!
