Shalom! I hope that everyone had a great Spring Break and a restful Passover! Today was our first day back, and we had a GREAT day! The kids definitely missed their friends and I definitely missed my students!
Before Spring Break began, our class continued preparing for Passover and our Passover Seder. The students did a FABULOUS job at the Seder! We also had a special visitor the last week that we cannot forget to mention, Frankie the Frog! Frankie the Frog is a stuffed frog that travels to Jewish pre-schools around the country. Frankie got the opportunity to make charoset with our class, join in on on VPK buddy visit, go to P.E. with Coach Rebecca, and garden with Mr. Greg! We loved having him in our class and hope he enjoys his future travels!
Although this week is a short week, we are still getting a lot of learning in! The students are starting to make their Alphabet book where we will be practicing learning and writing our upper and lower case letters. We are also learning about Spring. We will be making butterflies, coloring rainbows, and reading books that will teach us about Spring!
It is a new month, which means a new Ema and Aba list. I have also included the tentative Shoobie Doobie and Shabbat Box schedule. This is tentative due to if your child is out of class on the day they are schedule to have the Shoobie Doobie or Shabbat Box they will not be able to receive it and bring it home.
Please let me know if there are any discretions with the schedules. Please feel free to come in and read to our class on the day that your child is scheduled to be the Ema or the Aba. We love having our families read to us and join us for our Shabbat program!
