Tzeeporim 2 has been very busy getting ready for Purim this week! On Tuesday we made our dough for our Hamentashin. We had a great time measuring out the ingredients with Morah Hannah and seeing what it looked like at the end of the recipe!
On Wednesday, we made our groggers and Hamentashin baskets and on Thursday, we will be baking our Hamentashin! PLEASE let me know if you would like to come in and help our class with baking the Hamentashin, we would love for all the parents who are free to join us for this fun day! 🙂
Sunday, February 24, is the Purim carnival at the Center. I can say that I still remember how much fun this time of year was when I was growing up. So, this is definitely something all the children will enjoy!
On Monday, February 25, we will be celebrating Purim! I cannot wait to see all the costumes that everyone will wear! The day school has invited us to celebrate Purim with their classes, so, we will have the opportunity to travel over to the day school and sing some Purim songs with the older students, and maybe even see our VPK Buddies!
We have also been learning about how important it is to brush our teeth. We read “Brush Your Teeth Please” and all of the children LOVED it! We have been working on our sight words and are continuing to practice our handwriting. Tzeeporim 2 is definitely full of students who are getting ready for Kindergarten!
We will start working on Passover activities next week and continue learning and growing together!
