It is hard to believe that this will be the last blog for this year. What an amazing (half) of year it has been!
This week has been VERY busy preparing for our Moving Up Ceremony and preparing for Kindergarten!
Last week, we were given the opportunity to visit Ms. Yegewel’s Kindergarten classroom in the MJGDS day school. It was a GREAT opportunity. The kids had a great time and loved seeing what Kindergarten will be like next year! We also did a very cool experiment with Mr. Greg! We did WATER ROCKETS! WOW did we have a blast! The kids did not want to leave Science they were having such a great time!
This week, we have been busy practicing, practicing, and MORE practicing for our moving up ceremony! I can tell the kids are getting very excited and cannot wait to show it off at our ceremony (Don’t forgot- June 13 at 10:30! 🙂 )
Tuesday, we celebrated Moriah’s birthday! It was a great treat before we made our t-shirts!
We have made our special end of the year shirts and had a fun water day today- which included small pools, pool toys, sprinklers, and shaving cream! It happened to be Danielle’s birthday so we got to enjoy some yummy popsicles!
The rest of this week will include enjoying our last day with Coach Rebecca and also celebrating Sophia’s birthday on Friday!
(We have A LOT of birthday celebrations this week!!)

Important Announcement- If you have not heard, our beloved Morah Hanna will not be returning to the preschool next year. Morah Hanna is so loved at the preschool. I know many of you have many children that have been lucky enough to have Morah Hanna in their classroom throughout the years. Morah Hanna will be returning to the Day School and to the Religious School, but has decide to have a little down time in the mornings (Can you blame her? Three jobs-WOW!) I know she loves all of your children very much and will look forward to seeing them in the future at the Day School and Religious School!
I have been SO lucky to have your children in my class. Also, the support from ALL of you has meant the world to me. As your children continue on to Kindergarten, I know they will all continue to grow into wonderful children but, I will miss them dearly! Please keep in touch and come and stop by at ANY time. Your students have made me love coming to work every day. Thank you all for everything. Again, I cannot express enough gratitude for all of the love and support you have given me.
Take care and have a wonderful, safe summer vacation!
Miss Lisa and Morah Hanna 🙂
