Last week was another short week for our class, but, boy did we get a lot accomplished!
We started our week with our Sukkah Hop. We were very lucky not to get rained out and got the chance to walk from Sukkah to Sukkah. The students had a great time looking at different Sukkah’s and even getting some treats along the way!
Through out the week we learned about different types of weather with reading “We Play on a Rainy Day”. We read other fun books about weather and even made umbrellas out of coffee filters!
Miss Gabrie helped us make our Simchat Torah flags for our Simchat Torah parade with Ms. Ashley and Ms. Robin’s class!
On Wednesday we prepared for Simchat Torah by getting to go on our parade around the synagouge with Morah Rachel and Morah Miriam. Two of our friends even got to dress up like the Torah! We also had the chance to learn Hashem creating the world.
Next week we will learn about the primary colors with reading Mouse Paint. It will be a week filled with fun art projects, interesting books, and many different learning opportunities.
This will be our first full week since the first week of school! It may be tough on some students to get back in the 5 day a week “school routine” but the good news is we will finally get to start teacher-directed centers every day!
We also will get a full week of resources! I will be sending home the Ema/Aba list for October on Monday. Please let me know if you are interested in being a Mystery Reader on the day your child is schedules to be the Ema or Aba.
October 9- Preschool Back to School Night
October 21- Parparim & Tzeeporim Vision Screening
